going on a scrapping weekend

I am finally getting some time alone and child free -- going to this really cool resort in the mountains,
and the best news is that it is a scrapping weekend in October!

my friend and I are going together, so I will have company,
and I am planning on doing my digi-scrapping, but I am
bringing my stamping stuff too. I am so excited.

and there is another treat -- my dh will be visiting his
mother with my dd, and without me. It will be like having
two retreats!

Leslie and I did one of those last summer. Leslie and I digiscrapped while the others paper scrapped. WOW! Did they ever have a ton of stuff to pack and unpack. It was great fun and I know you'll have a great time, too, Liz.
This group has made noises about putting another one together, but have had a hard time finding a date that everyone can make it.

i am so excited. i dont remember having time to myself like this since elena was born,
and she turns five next week! i can hardly believe it. we were in the pool the other day and I was thinking of how I was doing that five years ago, just waiting and waiting and waiting.
